VISITAS REALES

Hace unos días estuvo en nuestra ciudad el Señor de Puerto Real. Apenas nadie se enteró. Almorzó como no podía ser de otra manera en el Parador Nacional Rey Don Pedro I el Justiciero después de haber inaugurado un complejo industrial de alta tecnología en un pueblecito cercano al nuestro. Una pena, aquí desde que se inauguró ese Parador no ha tenido a bien ese Señor que volver a inaugurar nada porque nada, pasado los años, ha habido  que inaugurar que merezca regio honor.

 Don Juan, nuestro Alcalde,  dicen se enteró a última hora de la visita de su Majestad y por eso no llamó al pueblo para que acudiera a su encuentro. Mucho menos tuvo tiempo de engalanar las calles en honor de la regia visita. Tampoco dado el espléndido y soleado día que hacía  le podía invitar a un paseo por nuestra Real Alameda ya que aún perdura en su conciencia esas infames fotos que por unos votos se hizo  al lado de su antecesor Curro Elías. Una pena, nuestro alcalde  Juan solo pudo saludar muy brevemente a su tocayo y dentro de la estricta protocolaria cortesía. No pudo como se hacía antes, llevarle en un papelito las tropecientas mil y variopintas demandas y peticiones de arreglos, subvenciones etc que necesita la ciudad para que interceda por nosotros ante  ministros y ministerios.  El rey vino, bebió, comió, volvió a beber  y se llevó la ya típica bolsita de la agencia de turismo.

 Miro para atrás recordando las visitas reales a Carmona y me quedo con esta.  No sé quién era el alcalde de entonces, pero como sería que ni el de “las caenas” quiso se dijera su nombre; en realidad no sé el motivo, pero  Carmona no es santa de devoción para la Corona.

                                                                                            ROYAL VISITS

The King came, drank, ate, returned to drinking and was already typical bag of the tourism agency.

Look back reminding Carmona actual visits and I stay with this. I do not know who was the Mayor at the time, but would be wanted or that of "the caenas" to hear his name; in fact I do not know why, but Carmona is not Saint of devotion to the Crown.
