SOMATÉN

Esta entrada se la dedico al fallecido Antonio Lería. Para Banderías eso de la Memoria Histórica no se limita al durante y el después de lo que llaman  Guerra Civil. Cada vez estoy mas convencido que conociendo la historia social de esta ciudad,  aquí la toma por parte de Queipo fue tan solo la culminación de una guerra que ya estaba ganada por  los que después se auto llamaron  “ nacionales”, pero que había empezado mucho tiempo atrás. Un 18 de julio se produce la rebelión de unos militares y cuatro días después aquí paz y en el cielo gloria. Eso no es posible si el “trabajo” no estaba hecho antes. Yo no sé si alguien en la multitud de conferencias, congresos, simposios etc  locales referidos a estos temas  ha hecho alguna vez referencia a esta entrada pero lo que sí sé es que es muy fuerte ver como una élite utiliza a toda  una Virgen de Gracia para bendecir  a unos paramilitares. Era 1924.

This entry dedicated to the late Antonio Lería. For Erroneus that historical memory is not limited to the during and after what is called Civil War. Every time I'm more convinced that knowing the social history of this city, here the Queipo takeover was just the culmination of a war that was already won by which then is auto called "national", but that had begun long ago. A July 18 occurs the rebellion of soldiers and four days later here peace and in heaven glory. That is not possible if the "work" was not made before. I don't know if someone in the crowd of conferences, congresses, symposiums etc relating to these themes has ever done reference to this entry, but what I do know is that it is hard to see how an elite uses a Virgin of grace to bless a paramilitary. It was 1924.
